...It was dark. I don't know why, it just was. I couldn't see anything, even with my eyes open. It was like someone had put something over my eyes, it was so strange. And then there was the crushing weight that was pushing on me. Like the blackness itself was pushing down on me, it hurt so bad! I wanted to scream but I tried not to. I just layed there in the crushing blackness waiting for someone to save me because for some reason I knew someone would. So I just waited... I don't know how long it had been that I had been in the blackness but it was getting harder, kinda like I couldnt breathe. It was so quiet, all I could hear was my heart beat which for some reason seemed to be getting faster and faster! UGH! After all that time, my bravery shattered when my heart got even faster and louder like it was about to blow out of my chest! And then... It stopped. Just like that, it stopped. Had I died? If I did, Heavens pretty quiet. No wait, I could hear breathing but no heart beats. That and wind, wind hitting trees and the window. A window? What the heck? There aren't any windows in Heaven! I must be alive! "Why isn't she waking up?" Asked a grumpy female voice. "Shh, give her a sec." The girl who said this was sitting beside me and I realized I was on the floor. I decided to open my eyes and what I found there was a ceiling fan. I was laying on the floor in someones living room. I sat up slowly and saw the girl that was sitting in the floor next to me and recognized her. She was one of the new kids who moved here this summer. I had only seen her and her sister once or twice. Once in the mall one night, I think. Her and her sister were so beautiful, it was inhuman! But no one ever saw there parents. In fact, people rarely even saw them! As I continued to scan the room I noticed that my eye sight was incredible! I could see everything! I also saw her firery red head sister and some guy I had never seen before. My throat was burning. I turned my head toward the brunette and was about to open my mouth to question her about all of this when when these pictures covered my eye sight. It was like memories but stronger and more vivid. Kinda like visions. The vision was my mom, she was talking to me. The power had gone out and she was asking, well, more like telling me to go light some candles up stairs. I was in the middle of doing this in the room which you could call mine when the little flame on the match burned me and made me drop it. It landed on my white fuzzy carpet and went up in terrifying flames. I was trapped against the window. I thought about breaking the window but that would just send the flames toward me. I didn't know what to do! The fire had reached me and was burning me. I started screaming and yelling help for no reason. Its not like my parents were going to save me. They probably already made it out just in time. I mean, why would they want to save me? Have the time they forgot I even existed! So I guess I was just going to die. I was losing consciousness and I didn't care. I even started to hallucinate. Or at least I thought I was. I was seeing that new girl, the one with the silver eyes, she looked scared herself as she leaned down and... It was so weird! She bit my wrist and just like that the burning pain of the fire went away and was replaced by a harsher burning going up my arm and into my blood stream- I snapped out of the vision and clamped my mouth down. I was about to scream because the memory of the burning venom came back. I didn't know how but instantly I knew all of their names. Even the one that wasn't in the room. I relaxed and put my focus back on the girl and said "Hello Izzy." The room fell silent and I could know longer hear anyone breathing. As if Izzy wasn't puzzled enough by my moment of starring off into space, she looked even more puzzled now because I knew her name. But she still responded by saying "Hello" back. Among other things I found out in my vision of a sort was what I had become.
A Vampire.
